Hi again, GiGi GOLD here .. I would love to share this fantastic QUINOA recipe I make often. It’s this okay with you?
Here it is:
Just prepare the Quinoa to be cooked as u usually do, but than add sea salt to your taste, 2 Tbl spoon fulls of Olive Oil for 1 cup of dry Quinoa, 4 crushed garlic, half medium red onion cut in small square pieces,, n one piece of celery cut in small pieces. Finally add ½ cup of DRY CRANBERRIES. Saute everything till onions look transparent, and then slowly add 2 cups of water. Boil in Medium heat till water is almost gone, reduce heat to simmer, cover pot till water is gone and Quinoa is transparent n Fluffy it with a large fork. Cover, and let it rest for 5 minutes, n then SERVE. It’s very Nutri and very Delish!… BON APPETIT!!!…

I have been making QUINOA for about 16 years, ever since my Dr advised me to STOP eating “White rice”, because, he found out that and I was Pre-Diabetic, which it SHOCKED ME.

It wasn’t untill after several Lab Tests my Dr. REALiZED my body was converting the poor nutritious white rice into sugar. Even tho… I have NEVER been a sweet snacks lover, or ever have sweet tooth, because instead, I LOVE mainly Saladas, fruits, Nuts, n such; just HEALTHY snacks instead.

So by switching to QUINOA instead of white rice, I was DONE being PRE-Diabetic for good within two Months.

More I eat QUINOA, healthier I got. So I make food and hunt any food in HEALTHY STORE that contain or it’s made with QUINOA: Flour, breads, cookies, salads, main dishes, you name it.
However, I never rinse or soak my QUINOA before cooking it, I purchase it at Costco. I cook it in diversity of styles from different cultures, and it always comes out delish!
I use 1 cup of Quinoa to 2 cups of water instead, using Olive Oil, always. So I will try your recipe very soon as well. I am very open to try anything good in life. Thanx again.
